Hope is all she has

We know this photo is difficult to look at. This is a dog’s head. Not a pile of fur. Hope was found on the side of the road this morning, spotted by someone driving past. Imagine carrying so much neglect on your body that basic things eating, drinking, walking, finding comfort becomes impossible and the last thing you are left with is a ditch on the side of the road. This did not happen overnight. This happened over time while she lived trapped inside her own coat. And still… she is here. Still fighting. We named her Hope because, despite everything she has endured, she has not given up. She is en route to emergency care now, where she will get the best possible chance at surviving this.
