LSPCA's transport van and dedicated, super-human volunteer drivers save lives by moving hundreds of animals from the Lancaster County Animal Shelter and transporting them to rescues in other parts of the country where adopters are waiting. Your tax-deductible donation to our Transport Fund helps offset the cost of gas, tolls, maintenance, insurance, and other transport-related expenses.

In the last 1 1/2 years alone, more than 800 cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies have been transported by LSPCA to various rescue partners around the country. This not only saves the lives of the animals being transported, but it opens space at the shelter for the many animals arriving daily, giving them a safe place to rest while waiting for their chance at a happily "furever" after.
